There is a common adage that goes "The only thing that's constant is change '. One has seen many a Bollywood star getting replaced in films and also brand endorsements for many varied reasons. The latest in this category is that of Genelia D'Souza replacing Asin Thottumkal in the Hindi remake of the Tamil hit movie Kakha Kakha. It will now be Genelia and not Asin, who will be seen Romancing the hunky John Abraham.
For starters, the original Tamil movie Kakha Kakha was directed by Gautham Menon and hatred starred two of Tamil Nadu's heartthrobs Surya and Jyothika. While Vipul Shah wanted to make the film in Hindi, it was Nishikant Kamath (who had directed Mumbai Meri Jaan) who was chosen as the director. While the rest of the details of the cast are still being worked upon, one wonders as two what could be the reason behind the sudden replacement of Asin from the movie.Genelia's spokesperson refused to comment on this development.
